May 2012. Redesign of the logo for The Nordic House. A redesigned logo for The Nordic House by Baddydesign has now been launched. Followed by a new corporate identity that will soon be posted. The client wanted to hold on to the original archetype, which is an Alvar Alto's scetch from one of the house's windows. The latter image shows the logo before and after the redesign.

May 9th, 2011 BIG NEWS!: Baddydesign is expanding! Baddydesign is moving out of the kitchen in Barcelona and into an actual office space! I just rented an incredible space together with few friends, in the center of Barcelona. We named the studio D1 - multicreative space, and it will host different creative and artistic disciplines, such as graphic design (myself), 3d animation, videoprojection, photography and a kung fu school. The place is very raw at the moment and needs a facelift (and furnitures;-). The month of May we will be used for this so that in June we will be up and running. We have decided to throw a party to raise some money for paint etc., see flyer below, designed by Baddydesign.

Stay tuned for news of visual identity project D1!

Onetwo branding project. Onetwo's core businesses are communication consultancy, communication strategy and design. The brand had to have a flexible structure, be playful and corporate at the same time. The main idea behind the logo is that pieces are coming together. That concept is both inspired by the personal background of the company and also the company's businesses. Triangles form the number 1 and 2 in an abstract way, that some can see right away and some can not. It is a four color logo and the brand's color palette is vast. Its subbrands each has its own colored triangle. Its is also well applicable in patterns. The brands slogan is Dare to be nothing but authentic, and that explain the use of the photography. Onetwo's founder Sjaak Zoon is very much into photography and has taken a lot of interesting and authentic pictures of everyday life, that play a big part in the brand's identity. We ended up choosing 3 design variation for the identity, all faithful to the brand and could also be mixed together.
